Excellent Properties of CPVC Sheet
High Temperature Resistance
CPVC Sheet can withstand high temperatures up to 93°C in the long term and 110°C-120°C in the short term, which is significantly better than ordinary PVC sheets.
Corrosion resistance
CPVC Sheet is resistant to chemicals such as acids, alkalis, salts and chlorine, and is especially suitable for corrosive environments such as chemical equipment.
Low Water Absorption
CPVC Sheet has a low water absorption rate and can be used normally in humid environments.
Tensile Resistance
CPVC Sheet has a tensile strength of 52MPa or more, and remains structurally stable even under high loads.
Electrical insulation

Manufacturing and types
Lamination process:
A pre-made PVC film is bonded to a core material using heat and pressure.
Fabric:
Laminated PVC is also made by bonding a PVC film onto a textile base, creating a heavier and thicker material used for applications like inflatable boats and industrial curtains.

Substrate:
The core material can be a paper or board, such as particleboard or a foam board.
Comparison:
It is different from coated PVC, where liquid PVC is applied directly to the base, and from high-pressure laminates (HPL), which are made from multiple layers of kraft paper and resin.

The production of CPVC sheet requires the following steps.
Step 1: You should add CPVC resin and stabilizers, lubricants, and other additives to the mixer in the proportion of 100 parts of CPVC resin, 3-5 parts of stabilizers, and 0.5-2 parts of lubricants to mix them thoroughly. The temperature should be controlled at 120-130°C for about 5-10 minutes to ensure uniform mixing.
Step 2: You should use a twin-screw extruder to heat the raw material to a molten state and extrude it into a slab using a T-shaped die, the thickness of which is adjusted by the die lip gap.
Step 3: You should use water cooling or natural cooling to cool and shape the high-temperature sheet.
Step 4: You should cut and sand, and polish the sheet to ensure the surface of the sheet is smooth and flat.
