CPVC high-temperature resistant board is a specially modified chlorinated polyvinyl chloride sheet. Based on the excellent properties of ordinary PVC boards (such as corrosion resistance, insulation, and ease of processing), it significantly enhances heat resistance. The continuous service temperature of ordinary PVC boards typically ranges from 50°C to 60°C, whereas high-temperature resistant PVC boards can achieve a continuous service temperature of 90°C to 105°C, with short-term tolerance to even higher temperatures (e.g., around 120°C). This constitutes the most fundamental distinction between them and ordinary PVC boards.

Excellent heat resistance is its most prominent feature. With a continuous service temperature of 90°C–105°C and even higher short-term tolerance, it far surpasses ordinary PVC boards (typically rated for 50°C–60°C).
It demonstrates outstanding corrosion resistance, capable of withstanding erosion from acids, alkalis, salts, and various other chemicals, making it suitable for harsh chemical environments.
The material maintains good mechanical and physical properties, including high strength and rigidity, along with excellent flame retardancy (self-extinguishing upon removal of ignition source).
It also offers superior electrical insulation, serving as an effective insulating material that ensures electrical safety even under high-temperature conditions.
Easy to process, it can be secondary-processed like ordinary PVC through cutting, drilling, welding, and bending, facilitating the fabrication of various components.
Through chlorination modification, CPVC high-temperature resistant board successfully overcomes the fundamental limitation of heat sensitivity while retaining the comprehensive advantages of PVC, making it a critical material for high-temperature and corrosive environments.

Application:

Leveraging its unique properties, CPVC high-temperature resistant boards have established themselves as critical materials in the chemical processing industry, with primary applications in the following areas:
Corrosion-Resistant Equipment and Linings
These boards are utilized in the fabrication or lining of chemical towers, storage tanks, reaction vessels, and containment systems such as electroplating and pickling tanks. They demonstrate exceptional resistance to long-term exposure from a wide range of corrosive media, including acids, alkalis, and salts.
High-Temperature Ventilation and Exhaust Gas Treatment Systems
CPVC boards serve as protective linings in exhaust ducts, chimneys, and gas purification units like scrubbers and electrostatic precipitators. Their thermal stability allows them to effectively manage high-temperature corrosive gases generated during industrial operations.
Thermal Fluid Handling and Transport
Suitable for processes involving high-temperature chemical solutions or hot water, these boards are employed in containers, support structures, and piping systems. They maintain structural integrity under elevated operating conditions without deformation.
In chemical industry applications, CPVC high-temperature resistant boards successfully integrate superior corrosion resistance with exceptional thermal performance. This combination resolves the inherent limitation of standard PVC boards, which are prone to softening and failure at high temperatures, thereby significantly enhancing equipment service life, operational safety, and reliability in demanding environments.
