After the PVC resin is chlorinated, the irregularity and polarity of its molecular bonds increase, enhancing the resin's solubility and chemical stability. This results in improved heat resistance and corrosion resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, oxidizing agents, and other chemicals. The chlorination process also elevates the material's heat deflection temperature and mechanical properties. The chlorine content increases from 56.7% to 63-69%, and the Vicat softening temperature rises from 72-82°C to 90-125°C. Thus, CPVC Rigid Sheet For High Temperature is a promising new engineering plastic with broad application prospects.
